Educated at Merchant Taylors' School and St.Martin's School of Art started as a strip cartoonist drawing for many boys' adventure comics; finally becoming one of the main contributors for Look-In Comic drawing Kung Fu, Six Million Dollar Man, Battlestar Galactica et.al.

Commissioned by the Daily Mirror for the daily adventure strip Garth, he drew and wrote it for over twenty years and it is still reprinted and syndicated all over the world. At the same time he became employed by the film industry. He now works exclusively as a top storyboard artist in feature films. His storyboard work includes the following:
